An hour west on I-80 and I-84
I-80 West carries you out of Evanston, I-84 West takes over for the run down toward the canyon, and Exit 92 puts you on W Old Highway Road for the last minute to 5714 W Canyon View Cir Suite A in Mountain Green. Google Maps measures 61.5 miles and about 59 minutes in usual traffic.
It is interstate almost end to end, which is why an hour of it is more predictable than half an hour of city driving. Weather is the variable worth checking before you set off in winter.
People already drive this
This page exists for a plain reason. Clients from Evanston already make the drive, and they are happy with it. That is the honest basis for inviting more of them, and it is why the area we serve now says Wyoming out loud instead of stopping at the state line.
What they come for is a small dog and cat hospital owned by the two veterinarians who work in it. Dr. Nicole Sorensen and Dr. Dani Poll are the clinical roster, so the doctor who examined your dog last time is the doctor reading the follow-up.

What to bring across the state line
Records are the thing worth organizing in advance. Vaccination history, recent laboratory results, imaging reports, surgical notes and a current medication list with doses give us a starting point instead of a blank page. Asking your previous practice to send the file ahead works well; copies in a folder work just as well.
Bring the food label or a photograph of it if diet is part of the story, and any supplement bottles. For a cat, a carrier the animal has already met beats one that appears an hour before a long journey.
Making an hour count
Book online and you can see genuine availability for the next 45 days, which is what lets a long drive be planned rather than squeezed. Monday runs until 9 PM, Tuesday through Friday we are open 8 AM to 6 PM, and we are closed Saturday and Sunday. Say at booking everything you want looked at, so the appointment is sized for the trip.
Once you are here, the laboratory, digital X-ray and ultrasound are in the building, so results and a plan can arrive the same visit. Wellness care, vaccinations, dentistry, spay and neuter and mass and tumor removal are all done here. A full doctor physical exam and consultation is $70; the rest is on the pricing page.
