4.8★ on Google · Dr. Nicole Sorensen & Dr. Dani Poll · Mountain Green, UT
Two ways across the valley
The freeway option runs I-15 South to I-84 East, 25 miles that Google Maps times at about 28 minutes because almost none of it is spent stopping. The surface option down Harrison Boulevard is shorter on the odometer at 18.8 miles and longer on the clock at about 30 minutes.
Both finish the same way, at Exit 92 for Mountain Green and along W Old Highway Road to 5714 W Canyon View Cir Suite A. Traffic decides which one wins on the day.
When a half hour is worth spending
For a routine vaccine booster, a drive of this length is a big ask, and we would say so. The visits that justify it are the ones where time in the room and continuity of doctor change the outcome.
Dentistry is the clearest example. Cleaning, dental radiographs, extractions and dental surgery happen here under anesthesia with monitoring throughout, and the mouth is assessed by the doctor who will do the work. Planned surgery is the second: spay and neuter, soft tissue procedures and mass and tumor removal in our own suite, with an estimate you approve first.

A second set of eyes
Sometimes what you want is another reading of a diagnosis, an estimate or a set of results. Bring whatever you have, including laboratory reports, imaging and a medication list, and we will go through it with you during a full doctor physical exam and consultation, posted at $70 on our pricing page.
What comes out of that is an opinion and a plan, with an accurate range for anything we recommend. Our own laboratory, digital X-ray and ultrasound are here if a question needs a fresh test rather than a re-read.
Between the big visits
Not everything needs a half hour of interstate. When you are already here for a procedure, the routine work can ride along with it: a wellness examination, vaccinations brought up to date, a lump measured against the last time it was measured, a weight compared with the record rather than guessed. Say at booking what else you want covered and the appointment is sized for it.
Senior pet care suits that pattern especially well. An older dog or cat gains more from bloodwork read against previous results than from a panel viewed in isolation, and our laboratory keeps those numbers in the same building as the history they belong to. Laser therapy for stiff joints can be scheduled alongside a visit you were making anyway, and preventative care is planned the same way.
North Ogden questions, answered
How long is the drive from North Ogden?
About 28 minutes and 25 miles by I-15 South and I-84 East, or about 30 minutes and 18.8 miles by Harrison Boulevard.
Is it worth driving that far for a vet visit?
For a quick booster, probably not, and we would rather say that than pretend otherwise. For dentistry with radiographs, planned surgery, or a considered second reading of a diagnosis, the extra minutes buy time with the same two doctors from start to finish.
Do you take records from another practice?
Yes. Ask for your history to be sent ahead, or bring copies. Reading what has already been done is part of the consultation.
