US-89 north, then one canyon east
Follow US-89 north until it meets I-84 at the mouth of Weber Canyon, then take I-84 East to Exit 92. W Old Highway Road brings you to Canyon View Circle and our door at 5714 W Canyon View Cir Suite A. Google Maps measures the whole thing at 13.8 miles and about 18 minutes.
Two roads, one junction, no navigating once you are moving. The stretch that changes the character of the trip is the canyon: the scenery turns to river and rock, and the destination is a small town rather than a commercial strip.
Doctor-owned, and that is not a slogan
Dr. Nicole Sorensen and Dr. Dani Poll own Mtn Green Animal Hospital and work in it every week. Ownership decides the things a client feels: how long an appointment lasts, how a plan gets explained, whether the doctor who started a case is the one who finishes it. Here those answers are set by the two people examining your pet.
It is a dog and cat practice, which keeps the equipment, the drug list and the handling built around two species rather than spread across many.

Dentistry, with radiographs
Dental disease hides below the gum line, so a cleaning that skips imaging is a guess. Our dentistry service covers scaling and polishing, dental radiographs, extractions and dental surgery, all under anesthesia with vitals monitored throughout.
A full doctor physical exam and consultation is $70, and the dental estimate follows the consultation rather than preceding it, because the mouth has to be examined before anyone can price the work. Posted fees live on the pricing page.
Surgery in our own suite
Spay and neuter, soft tissue procedures and mass and tumor removal happen in this building, with an estimate you approve before anything is scheduled. Bloodwork runs in our own laboratory, and digital X-ray and ultrasound are here for the questions imaging answers.
Recovery gets attention too. Laser therapy is available for healing tissue and stiff joints, and follow-up visits stay with the doctor who did the procedure.
The routine that keeps the big visits rare
Most of veterinary medicine is unglamorous and preventive: an annual physical examination, vaccinations chosen for how your pet actually lives, parasite prevention, heartworm testing, and a weight and a set of teeth followed over years rather than glanced at once. Preventative care is a service in its own right here for exactly that reason.
Older dogs and cats get a closer look, because change arrives faster and often shows up in bloodwork before it shows up in behavior. Senior pet care covers that shift, and care plans are available if you would rather spread the routine work evenly across the year.
