Dental
Every dental starts with a consultation, because nobody can tell you what your pet needs without looking first. The procedure itself is done under anesthesia planned for your pet, with vital signs monitored the whole time. We clean above and below the gumline, take digital dental X-rays of the roots and bone, and extract a tooth only when it has to come out. You approve the estimate before we do the work.
Surgery
Before we schedule any surgery, your pet gets a complete physical exam and a plan built around them, and you get an estimate to approve. Procedures happen in our own surgical suite. The anesthetic plan is made for your pet, and we monitor heart rate, oxygen levels and other vital signs the whole time. If we find more during a procedure than the exam could show, we stop and call you before doing it.
Wellness and Vaccines
We give vaccines during a wellness visit, so every vaccine appointment begins with a nose-to-tail exam of the eyes, ears, mouth, heart, lungs, abdomen, skin and joints. One visit covers your pet’s shots and a full checkup, and it is your time to ask about behavior, nutrition, weight or parasite prevention. Our care plans bundle routine preventive care at a predictable monthly cost.
Diagnostics and Imaging
Diagnostics happen here, in the same building as your pet’s exam. Our in-house laboratory runs a comprehensive blood panel whose results are often ready while your pet is still at the hospital, so your veterinarian can go over them with you during the same visit. Digital X-rays are taken and read on site, and ultrasound looks inside organs where an X-ray shows only outlines. We also offer K-Laser therapy, a non-invasive treatment for pain and inflammation.
Urgent and Emergency
For an emergency, call (801) 516-7004 first. When we are open, we take urgent and emergency cases as our staff and hospital space allow, and if we cannot see your pet quickly enough we will point you to a 24-hour emergency hospital. A pet who is sick but not in crisis gets the next opening we have, often within a day. After hours, established clients can reach a provider when one is available to respond.
