What you will see in the tour

The film follows a working day at our dog and cat hospital.

The building and the front door

Outside, our two-story blue building on Canyon View Circle has the Mtn Green Animal Hospital sign across the top. Inside the front door you cross the paw-print logo mat and pass the front desk.

The lobby

Bench seating runs along the lobby walls beneath three large cat portraits and tall windows. In the film, a golden retriever sits by the bench with a member of our team.

Exams for dogs and cats

In an exam room, one of our team listens to a dog's heart, checks its ears and looks at its teeth. In the treatment area, two team members examine a black cat on a padded table beneath a vital-signs monitor.

Dental X-rays and dental care

A team member in a lead apron positions the X-ray unit over a cat's mouth, and the dental radiographs appear on screen: the tooth roots and jaw, where most dental disease hides. The film then follows a dental cleaning under anesthesia, with the breathing tube in place and a team member in a mask and face shield at work.

Digital X-ray

The X-ray room has our digital X-ray table, where images are taken and read on site.

The surgical suite

The surgical suite has an anesthesia machine, patient monitors and the surgical table, under ceiling-mounted surgical lights.

Hospitalization runs and the treatment area

Walk-in hospitalization runs with glass-fronted doors line one hallway, and a golden retriever looks out from one of them. The treatment area has stacked kennels, a stainless treatment table and the shelves of our in-house pharmacy, stocked with common medications and prescription dog food.

The people

The film ends outside the front door, where our team gathers on the sidewalk with several dogs. These are the people you will meet when you come in.
