Fourteen minutes east on I-84

The route holds one decision. Join I-84 East, stay on it for 11.9 miles as the freeway climbs into Weber Canyon, and leave at Exit 92 for Mountain Green. W Old Highway Road carries you the last stretch to Canyon View Circle, where the hospital sits at 5714 W Canyon View Cir Suite A with parking at the door.

Freeway miles and surface miles are not the same errand. Nothing on this route asks you to sit at a light once you have merged, which is why a trip that looks like a drive across the county behaves like a drive across town.

Monday runs until 9 PM

We hold Monday open from 8 AM to 9 PM. Tuesday through Friday we are open 8 AM to 6 PM, and we are closed Saturday and Sunday. When a workday ends at five and the drive takes about 14 minutes, Monday evening is the window that fits a full physical exam without anyone giving up a vacation day.

A late appointment is an ordinary appointment here. Dr. Nicole Sorensen and Dr. Dani Poll own this hospital and practice in it, so a 7 PM Monday visit means the same doctors, the same unhurried pace, and the same record your dog or cat already has.

Prices you can read before you book

A full doctor physical exam and consultation is $70. That figure lives on our pricing page beside vaccine, laboratory and imaging fees, so the reading happens at your kitchen table rather than at a counter.

A posted price is a starting point rather than a total. Anything beyond the exam gets an accurate range once a doctor has examined your pet, and a plan can still shift if something turns up in surgery. We would rather say that plainly than quote a number that cannot survive the appointment.

What a 14 minute drive gets you

Most of the calendar is steady work: vaccinations, wellness visits, senior pet care, and dentistry backed by dental radiographs. Our in-house laboratory, digital X-ray and ultrasound sit in the same building, so a sick dog or cat can often leave with answers instead of an appointment to get them.

Surgery happens here too, from spay and neuter through soft tissue procedures and mass and tumor removal. For anything sudden, we see sick and urgent cases and provide emergency care during business hours. Call (801) 516-7004 before you leave Riverdale so the team is ready when you pull in.
